Title 1 Information

Our school receives federal funds for Title 1 programs that are part of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 (ESEA), as amended by the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 (NCLB). The purpose of Title I is to provide all children with a significant opportunity to receive a fair, equitable, and high-quality education, and to close educational achievement gaps (ESEA 1001). Throughout the school year, KHPES will continue to provide you with important information about this law and your child's education.
