Want to get started learning how to create and code experiences in Roblox? This two-day workshop will walk you through completing an obstacle course and coding color changing blocks.
Objectives:
Manipulate 3D parts to create an obstacle course
Design and playtest an experience, focusing on a fun user experience
Create scripts using variables and loops for in-game visual effects
Skills and Concepts:
Variable - A placeholder for information in code
String - Variable that can store whole sentences, written in quotations
Loop - Set of code that repeates itself until told otherwise
Open to grades 7 - 12. Space is limited to 16 participants.
Note: This is a beginner's workshop for those with NO experience using Roblox Studio.
